Random Weekly Roundup #18

I missed my Roundup last because I was out of town a little longer than expected. A very organized blogger would have posts scheduled and ready to go, but alas, that person is not me. This is a part of my overall schedule I'm trying to work on, but the truth is I can only ever get one day ahead of myself. I wish I was more of a future-thinker- one of those people who is always prepared- but I just need that last-minute pressure to get anything done. Anyone else feel me on this one?

There's a bonus to a missed week, however, because that means this week is full of even more and, dare I say, even better finds to share with you all. Enjoy!

1. I love these colorized historical photographs that I saw on Indulgd. This photo of Charlie Chaplin was taken almost 100 years ago!  |   2. I so wish I had one of these haute couture helmets for my mantle! In the most fabulous designer/football pairing imaginable, you can now bid on any of the 48 CFDA-selected designer helmets, like these from Nicole Miller and Pamela Love, to help benefit the NFL Foundation.

3. I'm obsessing over this DIY Vintage Statement Necklace from Honestly...WTF made by layering vintage rhinestone necklaces.  |  4. And no, you don't need to get your vision checked. These. Dresses. Will. Be. At. Target! Buzzy Brit label Peter Pilotto's collaboration will hit stores February 9th, but get ready- these bad boys will sell out in minutes on launch day. Check out the full (amazing) lookbook here.

5. I would show you some images and give some commentary on the breathtaking designs from the Spring 2014 Couture collections, but this post from Man Repeller already did it so well.  |  4. People imitating emojis that imitate people. So meta and so awesome. Check them out at EMOJI IRL.LOL.

But wait! There's more...

Your feet want you to see this Lucky slideshow: Seven Types of Sneakers Worn by Fashion Insiders.
I love these awesome celestial DIY wall statements by A Beautiful Mess, here and here.
If you also love to see people in Chuck Taylors mingling with the 18th century French royal court, you'll dig Into The Gloss' Behind the Scenes: Marie Antoinette.
Sweatshirts for Every Occasion at Refinery29. Yes, yes, and yes.
I just found my new favorite blog, Pinterest Told Me To Do It, and these hilarious Bachelor recaps almost make me want to watch the show. But don't get crazy. I said almost, which I means I still won't.

And around town...

The dish on SJP's new shoe and bag collection from Capital Style.
This adorable French-inspired look from Lacey Rose XO.
Love this knit scarf from Lily at Lucky Star that she made herself! The outfit almost makes me want to take up knitting. (This time I mean that almost.)
And with Valentine's Day coming up, it's perfect timing to read up on 5 Short North Date Night Ideas from Experience Columbus.
And, finally, mark your calendars for the Jeni's Splendid Ice Cream Desserts cookbook coming out in May! Here's a preview video to hold you over.

See I told you there was a lot! Hope you are staying warm and enjoying the Taylor Swift Dance Show Grammys- I can't wait to see all the crazy fashion reports tomorrow!
