Random Weekly Roundup #25

Another week has flown by, leaving me happily exhausted. And this coming week brings even more activity and new starts, including a kickoff meeting for Face Melting for Fashion, part of Alternative Fashion Week, more work finalizing details for the Circa fashion show, and the start of an exciting competition with Stylinity, the company behind the Style Stage used in my Working Girl Wednesday posts. If you're in the area, stop by The Limited at Easton to try your hand at the Style Stage and come up with a career day look for your chance to win $500! And don't worry if the idea of using a machine you know nothing about is intimidating, the staff at The Limited is super helpful and will show you how easy and fun it is to use!

And now on to my favorite links of the week!...

1  A peek inside of SJP's amazing NYC home. I need that blanket, that sofa, that rug, that bar cart, that life... For real, though.  |  2  And speaking of home decor, I love this DIY Typographic Art from A Beautiful Mess. It's graphic and cool and not the least bit "crafty."

3  10 Things You Didn't Know About Karl Lagerfeld, like that he uses eyeshadow for his sketches.  |  4  Ever since Rookie of the Year, Lupita Nyong'o, graced the Oscar red carpet with that thin gold band that seemed more like a tiara than a measly hair accessory, I've been fully obsessed with headbands. This slideshow is full of brilliant headband styling ideas.

And because I'd like to make you all as uncomfortable as possible, here's a group of strangers sharing their first kiss. I don't know about you, but I find it incredibly intimate in all of its awkward glory. I dare you to look away.
(Sidenote: I learned of this video from Man Repeller and it's actually an ad for Wren.)

And in less emotionally provocative news...
I want every single one of these.
And I never realized how much I also want this until now.
I wish my whole life was covered in these prints.
The prettiest $4 floral arrangement.
And can you believe it has been 10 years since Mean Girls was released! Take a trip down memory lane with these style lessons straight from the Plastics.

And some local faves...
The Casual Classic's red hot take on menswear.
5 weekend trips from Ohio from Girl About Columbus.
Lily Schlosser has the perfect color palette for spring.
Someone please get me these teal Adidas wedges on Kholá's Kloset.
And my new favorite gift idea from Lovely + Rust.

So that's it for this week! But I'm dying to know, what was your reaction to the First Kiss video? Let's get our debate on in the comments section!
