It's hard to believe it's been 3 weeks since the Circa benefit fashion show! It was a lot of hard work and I took on many, many more roles in the planning process than I would ever recommend to another human being. But I also had a lot of help and it turned out to be one of the best nights of my life! Here are some of my favorite pictures, all captured by our wonderful show photographer, Jim Sanders. Enjoy!...
My FAVORITE picture of the girls of Il Moda (who you'll notice sponsored our step-and-repeat). From left: Samantha Moffett (TrendEditor), Lubna Najjar (Lubna Designs), and Faith Walker (Faithfully Yours Beauty).
The most wonderful and adorable hostess, Heather Wells, Miss Ohio 2013.
Lubna Designs giving us a high-class dose of Old Hollywood Glam.
Shann Cortes Designs showed a sexy, retro pinup-inspired collection.
Columbus newcomer Horacio Nieto of Arlo Menswear gave the ladies some eye candy with his midcentury modern collection.
The bohemian bridal line by Cierra Lauren was like a romantic lace wonderland.
Erica Dawn Woodmore showed a sophisticated, Halston-inspired take on 70s disco. And check out the amazing statement pieces by our jewelry sponsor Honey Rose & K. (I didn't end up with an official photo of Erica, but you can see her beautiful face, here.)
And some über-stylish guests...
For more beautiful faces, you can see all of the step-and-repeat photos, here.
And a few more important people to mention: my multi-talented friend and DJ extraordinaire, Mike Powers, the world's best local band, The High Definitions, my Girl Wonder power team, Becky, Shiree, and Brooke, and everyone else who helped out with setting up, bartending, modeling, etc. And obviously all of our amazing sponsors: Il Moda, Ashby Floral Boutique, Kittie's Cakes, Lasting Impressions Event Rental, Capital Style Magazine, Thirty-One Gifts, Evolved Body Art, and Rowe Boutique. You guys deserve a standing ovation! :)
And so that was it! The very first fashion show presented by StyleOnHigh! Thank you to everyone who came to the show! I hope there are many more to come!
