Weekend Reading Vol. 24

Happy weekend, friends! I hope you are all enjoying a relaxing, love-filled day! I'm going to (finally) see Mockingjay: Part 2 today with my mom and sis. Random fun fact about me: I'm a major fan of the franchise but I definitely just looked up the title of the movie because I always call sequels by the original movie. Like I just call them all The Hunger Games like a dad in a Jimmy Fallon bit who isn't hip enough to know what things are actually called.

So anyway, now that you know I'm a dorky dad, I bet you can't wait to see my link recommendations this week, right? Don't worry, these are much cooler than that story. ;)

1  I was so excited to see that one of my favorite fitness bloggers, Cassey Ho, is on the January cover of Health magazine. If you read her post about it you'll easily see why I love her so much. She's just so inspiring and uplifting. Even if you don't like working out at all (me), she makes her programs so much fun that you'll want to stick with it. (Blogilates)  |  2  You guys know I'm crazy about planning, scheduling, list-making, etc. So naturally I love New Year's and this DIY acrylic calendar is a perfect project to get your resolutions/goals on track! (A Beautiful Mess)

3  Tis the season to fuel my ballet obsession, so here goes! This behind-the-scenes look at the New York City Ballet's The Nutcracker is too gorgeous for words. (Garance Doré)  |  4  And I thought this Sugar Plum Fairy-themed party was both brilliant and adorable. (With Heart)

5  Nothing says classic grace and beauty like Jimmy and Guillermo in tutus. (YouTube)
