Random Weekly Roundup #21

I hope you all had a week full of love! I was so happy to have a guest post from girl about columbus, and even though Valentine's Day is over, you can still get some great date night ideas from her post here. And speaking of guest posts, I also had a few here and here. So between that, and a few other things I've got cooking, it's been a little hectic in my neck of the woods. But hectic is good- especially when you're working on something you're really excited about (which I will tell you all about tomorrow!).

And a few more things I'm excited about this week...

1 Think this "Linguini & White Wine Clam Sauce" is from the Instagram account of one @MarthaStewart? Close, but it's actually 2 Chainz' surprisingly decadent foodstagram. That's right, in between pics of Lil Wayne and Adidas shoes, @hairweavekiller dines like a judge on Top Chef. #unexpected.  |  2 And how can you turn a "Barefoot Contessa" marathon into a party? With this Ina Garten drinking game. Anyone who's seen the show can appreciate rules like one sip for "a Jeffrey cameo, but two sips if it's related to chicken."

3 I get really excited about Fashion Week, but the endless recaps can sometimes be a little overwhelming. That's why I especially liked this post by The Cut, who took a much less serious approach, talking about the Emojis the fashion crowd needs during NYFW. And I totally want a bananas and a champagne emoji just for normal life...  |  4 Will the world ever not be obsessed with Margot Tenenbaum? I know I won't, so I was particularly excited to see this post by LeFashion on the Margot-inspired editorial seen in Grazia France.

5 In what might be the cutest, most sincere expression of personal style, Tim Walker's new book The Granny Alphabet showcases grandmothers and the things that are most dear to them, accompanied by short, gently humorous verses by Kit Hesketh-Harvey. Love, love, love!  |  6 There's nothing like the feel of a Coach bag, but the styles don't usually excite me in the way that is required to justify spending $400. However, under the hands of their newest creative director Stuart Vevers, the Fall 2014 collection has gotten a whole lot edgier. Or a just a whole lot better, if you ask me. :) Get a glimpse of it, here.

And in other link-worthy news...
This lamp and this rug put every other DIY in the world to shame.
