Wednesday around here is now all about wardrobe ideas for the workday. As you might have read in my first post, here, I've teamed up with Stylinity whose Style Stage in The Limited at Easton is changing the way we shop in stores and online. Each week myself and my wonderful "working girl" models will be showing you some looks from the Style Stage and through Stylinity.com to help give you some ideas for own work wardrobe.
Today's Model: Elise, 26
Job Title: Community Relations Manager for a Professional Sports Organization
Dress Code: Business Casual
What She Needs: Fun and comfortable pieces that maintain a professional look.
This polished look is great for meetings and events. Unexpected color combinations and a punchy print give the standard blouse and pencil skirt combo an energetic and playful vibe, perfect for an athletically-driven field...
A swingy, A-line knit dress looks chic but is also comfortable enough for events. The bright green and navy combo lends a traditional, preppy feel, while the multi-colored scarf keeps the look fun.
This sweater and trouser combination has the comfy appeal of your favorite t-shirt and jeans, but it's polished enough for the office. A modern necklace and slouchy, neutral bag are the perfect accents to a fun yet functional outfit.
So, while black and gray are office staples, don't overlook pops of orange and green to add some energy to your office look.
Thanks, Elise, for having fun with me at the Style Stage!
